Stunning new identity for Bannockburn which is a historic site currently being developed by the National Trust for Scotland at a cost of £9 million. The identity itself was created by The Beautiful Meme who consulted with Dalton Maag and also worked closely with the projects interpretive design team, Bright White, on it’s development.
The design reflects the complexities of Bannockburn, with each letter representing an integral part of the story. For example, the symbol used for the first B illustrates the tight packs in which the Scots would group together, known as Schiltrons. The men would brandish pikes ready to spear oncoming troops.
